UConn athletics negotiating contract with sports retail firm Rally House

The University of Connecticut athletics department is negotiating a contract with Rally House, a Kansas-based sports retailer and marketing firm.

In a statement posted Tuesday on social media platform X, Kyle Muncy, UConn’s director of brand partnerships and trademark management, said Rally House will be its newest retail partner.

“Rally House will be taking over our website and arena/stadium (merchandise) sales in ‘26-’27, as well as opening a retail store in Manchester,” Muncy stated in the social media post.

He added that Rally House has a website active now “that is just the tip of the iceberg.”

In response to questions from Hartford Business Journal, Muncy said via email that a contract with Rally House is not yet final, so no terms are available, but it is expected to be completed in time for it to take effect on July 1, 2026.

The company will take over official online store and arena/stadium merchandise sales from the current vendor, Dyehard Fan Supply by Follett, whose contract expires in 2026. Muncy said UConn “did a public solicitation to determine the next company.”

A location for the Manchester retail store has not yet been determined, he said, but UConn is “optimistic that the physical store will open in early 2026.”

He added that Rally House will also be a sponsor of UConn Athletics “as part of this relationship.”
