Swiss bank UBS AG, with U.S. operations based in Stamford, says it has signed a deal to purchase Brazilian brokerage firm Link Investimentos for about $112 million.
Zurich-based UBS said Thursday that the deal requires the approval of Brazil’s central bank and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter.
Link Investimentos is an independent brokerage with 279 employees in Sao Paulo and Curitiba, UBS said.
