U. St. Joseph names public health program director

The University of St. Joseph in West Hartford has named Katie S. Martin an assistant professor in its nutrition and public health department.

Martin will serve as director of the bachelor’s degree in public health program, which is being offered for the first time this fall.

She graduated from Indiana University and holds a master’s degree and doctorate degree in nutrition science and policy from Tufts University.

Most recently, Martin was an assistant professor-in-residence in the department of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Connecticut.
