TWO JOIN HALL OF FAME

The University of Hartford has inducted two alumni — Gonzolo G. “G.G.” Pique and Patrick D. Tannock — into its Barney School of Business Hall of Fame. Pique, who received an MBA in 1974, is president and CEO of Energy Recovery Inc., a designer and developer of energy recovery devices for seawater desalination based in San Leandro, Calif. Tannock, who received BSBA degrees in 1982, is president of XL Insurance Bermuda. They were selected from 18,000 alumni for their “outstanding achievements to promote global awareness and social responsibility.” The two inductees were honored with the establishment of scholarships in their names.
