Two industrial buildings bring $1M

A pair of Hartford area industrial buildings have changed hands in deals totaling more than $1 million, realty officials say.

In West Hartford, Dalton Rigging & Transportation paid $405,000 for a 14,000-square-foot building at 716 Oakwood Ave.

Oakwood Avenue LLC was the seller.

Colliers International represented both parties in the deal.

In Newington, Souza Investments LLC paid $600,000 for a 37,000-square-foot facility at 565 Cedar St. to house a heat-treating services operation.

S.J. Pawlak Associates LLC was the seller.

Colliers represented the buyer. OR&L Commercial represented the seller.

Both sales closed in April.

Trane expands in Rocky Hill

Trane Northeast has expanded its Rocky Hill quarters in the Winbrook Business Park.

The heating and cooling equipment maker’s new, larger 20,000-square-foot office at 716 Brook St. houses a staff of 50 associates, plus another 30 technicians dispatched on service calls throughout the state, officials said.

It also includes a customer training facility for service technicians and facility owners who do their own maintenance. The space is used for seminars with continuing education credit for LEED accredited professionals who must obtain a certain number of credits to stay current.

Dental billing lease

Pro Dental Billing LLC signed a five-year lease for 4,400 square feet of office space at 21 Business Park Drive in Branford.

The Geenty Group, Realtors represented landlord Todd’s Hill Investment Circle and Pro Dental principals Danielle Carney and Edward Carney III in the lease.

 

Oxford Performance moves

Oxford Performance Materials has leased about 16,000 square feet at 30 South Satellite Road in South Windsor.

Oxford is moving to its new space from Enfield.

Sentry Commercial represented the landlord, AHS Realty 1 LLC, in the recent lease negotiations

Rolls-Royce in Old Saybrook

Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Inc. leased 6,400 square feet at 599 Middlesex Turnpike in Old Saybrook for a regional office.

Michael R. Sexton, regional property director for Rolls-Royce, and has his staff will occupy the two-story, colonial style office building almost adjacent to the Route 9 interchange at Exit 2.

The Geenty Group, Realtors represented landlord SBS Properties LLC in the lease. Geenty Group and UGL-Equis of Indianapolis represented Rolls-Royce Naval Marine.
