Two antique Hartford buildings with a combined 41 apartments recently sold to a Spring Valley, New York buyer for $4 million.
Brooklyn-based Asylum Buyers LLC, in a deed recorded Sept. 5, sold an 11-unit building at 903 Asylum Ave. and a 30-unit building at 911 Asylum Ave. to Assylem Housing LLC.
The 11-unit building was completed in 1831, 30 years before the start of the Civil War. The 30-unit building is nearly a century old.Â
Asylum Buyers LLC, whose principal is Moshe Spira, bought the neighboring properties for a combined $2.8 million in 2022.
The buying LLC’s principal is Naftuli Hollender. In state business records, Hollender lists a Spring Valley, New York address for his business, and a Hartford address as his residence.Â
