The combined company will have 25 employees and seven partners based in the Glastonbury office, continuing to do business as Nicola Yester.
Nicola Yester & Co., a Glastonbury accounting, taxation and business advisory firm, has acquired Rocky Hill CPA firm Paquette Mancarella & Co.
The combined company will have nearly 25 employees and seven partners based in the Glastonbury office, and will continue to do business as Nicola Yester.
Nicola Yester was founded by Timothy J. Nicola and Norman J. Yester in 1986. Yester is still serving at the firm, and heads up business development and strategic planning.
Nicola Yester provides accounting, tax planning and advisory services to closely-held businesses in the manufacturing and construction industries, as well as other small businesses and nonprofits.
Paquette Mancarella was formed on Jan. 1, 2022, as part of the de-merger of another accounting firm, and is led by partner Angelina Mancarella. The other founding partner, David Paquette, passed away last year.
Mancarella joins Nicola Yester as a partner and brings four staff members with her.
“We want to continue to provide our clients with outstanding professional service and sought out a larger firm that will help us deliver and who also shares the same values as we do,” Mancarella said.
