More than a dozen bands are headed to Hartford this weekend for a two-day music festival in Bushnell Park that should make for a busy downtown in Connecticut’s Capital City.
The Capitol Groove, hosted by Fairfield-based live event company Goodworks Entertainment, is scheduled for noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with single-day tickets for $119 and two-day tickets for $219. Children 12 years old and younger are free, according to event organizers. VIP tickets for the event are sold out for both days, but general admission tickets are still available.
The 14 bands scheduled to play this weekend include: My Morning Jacket, Dispatch, The Revivalists, The Head and the Heart, Shakey Graves, Guster and more.
Food and craft drink options will also be available at the event, and information about reserved lockers and parking can be found online. The event is cashless, so attendees should bring their cards or phones for digital payments.
