Bristol Health on Thursday announced it will be moving two of its Health Medical Group Primary Care offices to its Medical Care Center downtown, at 15 Riverside Ave.
Hospital officials say the move will expand the services offered at its 60,000-square-foot Medical Care Center, as well as contribute to revitalizating Bristol’s downtown area.Â
The new primary care space will occupy 5,000 square feet of the building’s ground level and is anticipated to bring more than 16,000 more patient trips per year to Bristol’s center.Â
Bristol Health Medical Group’s two primary care offices at 61 Bradley St. and 102 North St., will close this month for the relocation process, which begins Monday.
The $26 million Medical Care Center opened on June 7, 2019, bringing several specialties including cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, orthopedics, and plastic surgery, under one roof, according to Bristol Health.
