Two Bloomfield manufacturers are combining forces.
Integrated Polymer Solutions Inc. (IPS), which makes highly-engineered elastomeric components and tools for the aerospace and defense industries, has acquired Swift Textile Metalizing LLC for an undisclosed sum.
Swift Textile Metalizing (STM), which makes metalized fabrics that go into products from computer keyboards to submarines, will continue to be managed by company owner and President Steve Sigmon, IPS said.
IPS is a portfolio company of San Francisco private equity firm Arcline Investment Management.Â
