Twin Hospitality Group Inc. has signed an agreement to bring its Twin Peaks sports lodge concept to Connecticut, with plans to add three locations across the state.
The Dallas-based company, which operates 114 Twin Peaks restaurants in the U.S. and Mexico, signed a development agreement with New London Hospitality, led by New London-based business partners Deepak Verma and Kam Singh.
The deal includes development rights for locations in the New Haven, Hartford, Danbury, Stamford/Bridgeport and Waterbury markets.
Verma and Singh bring experience in multi-unit hospitality operations, including hotel properties under brands such as Red Roof Inn, Choice Hotels and Hilton.
Twin Hospitality Group Inc., a publicly traded company, founded Twin Peaks in 2005.
The chain markets itself as a sports lodge featuring made-from-scratch food, 29-degree draft beer and extensive televisions for watching games. Servers known as “Twin Peaks girls” are part of the restaurant’s branding.
A spokesperson for the company did not respond to an inquiry seeking information about the specific locations in Connecticut. A timeline for opening the locations has not been announced.
