Tribus Beer property sold for $1.5M; brewery to stay on site

A Milford property, occupied by a local brewery, has been sold for almost $1.5 million.

Trumbull-based Best Buddies LLC and principal Howard Greenspan sold the property at 100 Raton Drive for $1.475 million to YDF CT Holdings LLC and principal David Freidus based out of Lawrence, N.Y. The deal was recorded Dec. 13.

Built in 1987, the 15,000-square-foot building is home to the Tribus Beer Co. brewery, which will remain on a long-term lease to occupy the entire premises. 

Tribus opened in 2018 as Milford’s first brewery and taproom.

It features more than a dozen varieties of beers on tap and canned beer for purchase.

The brewery also hosts events such as music, trivia nights and private events, and sells brand merchandise.   

JD Altobello and Mannie Greenspan of Trumbull-based Greenspan Realty represented the seller. Altobello procured the buyer.
