Hartford’s The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts has added two of Connecticut’s biggest corporations as sponsors for its upcoming Broadway Series.
New York insurer Travelers Cos. Inc., with major operations in the city, and Waterbury’s Webster Financial, parent of Webster Bank, will sponsor The Bushnell’s 2011-2012 theatrical season, the nonprofit cultural-entertainment venue said Tuesday.
Bushnell CEO David Fay declined to reveal financial terms.
Fay said both companies have previously sponsored other Bushnell events, but this is the first time for both with the series that will include “Les Miserables,” “The Addams Family,” and “Fiddler On The Roof.”
