Travelers Championship tickets on sale

Tickets for June’s Travelers Championship in Cromwell became available Monday.

Several upgrades are being made for this year’s tournament at TPC River Highlands held from June 17-23. A new $20 million clubhouse spanning over 40,000 square feet will be showcased at the 2019 event, which has ranked as the second-most attended PGA Tour event in recent years.

A new lawn area located adjacent to the clubhouse will anchor play between the first tee box and the 18th green. Food will be served in the area in addition to other lawn games and a full-service bar and concessions provided. Single-day tickets there range from $65 to $90.

The tournament is also opening a new indoor and outdoor club area sponsored by Mohegan Sun between the 16th and 17th holes. Tickets range between $75-$115 to access the club and its food and beverage offerings.
