TransAct spends $4.3M on shares

Hamden printer and software maker TransAct Technologies Inc. said it has repurchased 490,000 of its shares.

The company paid $8.75 per share, bringing the total purchase to $4.3 million.

The repurchase represents 5.6 percent of its outstanding shares.
