Hamden printer and software maker TransAct Technologies said it will sever its 12-year relationship with its European distributor by year’s end.
Eurocoin, based in the United Kingdom, had an exclusive distribution deal with TransAct for its casino printing products since Jan. 2003.
CEO and Chairman Bart C. Schuldman thanked Eurocoin in a statement, calling the company an “invaluable partner in helping us grow our business across Europe.”
TransAct said Suzo-Happ will take over as its exclusive distributor in Europe. The switch will make Suzo-Happ the exclusive global distributor for TransAct’s casino products as of Jan. 1.
TransAct enlisted the company a year ago to distribute its products in Asia and the United States.
