National grocery store chain Trader Joe’s said it will open its new Glastonbury location in February.
The new store, located at 400 Hebron Ave., will debut Feb. 2. It will be the California-based chain’s ninth Connecticut location.
The company said hiring efforts are still underway for the store.
The town approved plans for a specialty grocery store at the Hebron Avenue site last year. The building was originally envisioned as a home for restaurants, but the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on the restaurant industry led to the change in the plan.
