The buyer that paid $44.5 million for Meriden’s Townline Square shopping center has revealed its identity.
Greenwich-based Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. announced last week that it had sold the property, but did not identify the buyer. On Tuesday, New York-based Castle Rock Equity Group revealed itself as the buyer of the 29-acre property, located near the Wallingford border.
“We feel confident that Castle Rock can bring additional value to an already great asset,” CEO Judah L. Angster said in a statement.
Castle Rock owns commercial and residential properties in New York, Philadelphia and Cleveland, according to its website, which does not list any Connecticut holdings.
