Torrington-based firm that developed church management software acquired by MA company

A Torrington-based church management software firm, FaithTeams, has been acquired by a Massachusetts company that provides software for nonprofit groups and associations.

ConnectedView, headquartered in Marlborough, Mass., purchased FaithTeams for an undisclosed amount, according to an announcement Monday.

ConnectedView said the acquisition reflects its “commitment to serving faith-based organizations with innovative tools that streamline operations, enhance engagement and support their missions.”

“FaithTeams has built an incredible platform that aligns perfectly with our mission to serve nonprofits and faith-based organizations,” said Daniel Stouffer, chief product officer at ConnectedView. “Together, we will enhance the tools available to churches, making it even easier for them to engage their congregations and streamline operations.”

Shane LaPierre, founder of FaithTeams, is now listed as the director of FaithTeams on ConnectedView’s website. He is a pastor and also has a background in software development, according to the FaithTeams website.

“Joining ConnectedView is an exciting new chapter for FaithTeams and the churches we serve,” LaPierre said. “ConnectedView shares the same commitment to innovation and service, making this a natural fit.”

ConnectedView has more than 200,000 people using its software, according to its website. The company was named to the Inc. 5000 list, as one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies in 2024. Its three-year growth stood at 117%, according to the list.
