Eleonora Tornatore has been named executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter in Rocky Hill.
She has worked with individuals with Alzheimer’s and their families at both senior living facilities and in research for 15 years. She has been affiliated with the Connecticut Chapter as a support group leader for over 10 years. Most recently, she served as the executive director of The Greens at Cannondale, a for-profit senior living community in Wilton.
She was with The Greens for more than 14 years and served as director of its Alzheimer’s program. Prior to that, she held a role in grants management and administration as a research associate for nursing homes and assisted living with the Alzheimer’s Association New York City Chapter.
She is also the board chair of the Connecticut Assisted Living Association.
