Top-ranked PGA Tour player Justin Thomas commits to Travelers Championship

The Travelers Championship announced Tuesday that 15-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Thomas has committed to the 2023 Travelers Championship.

This will be the eighth tournament appearance at TPC River Highlands for Thomas who is currently No. 10 in the Official World Golf Ranking.

In October, the PGA TOUR announced that the 2023 Travelers Championship would offer an elevated purse of $20 million. Part of the elevated status includes the tournament being guaranteed 20 of the Tour’s top 22 players. 

Other top players that have committed to the event include Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele. 

The 2023 Travelers Championship will be held June 19-25 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.
