Tolland IT firm hires CEO

Tolland’s OpenSky has named a CEO to take over for the man who shepherded the IT consulting firm through an acquisition by a German company last year.

Olaf Siemens will succeed Roger Levasseur, who will become chief customer office. The change is effective immediately, OpenSky said.

Siemens, 47, has worked in IT for more than 25 years. He has been global vice president of information security at TÜV Rheinland — OpenSky’s parent company — since 2012. Earlier this year, he became executive vice president of TÜV’s ICT & Business Solutions unit.

He previously worked for Siemens AG, where he founded the company’s e-business and cybersecurity departments.

Siemens and Levasseur praised each other in a press release about the change.

“I am confident his leadership will strengthen OpenSky’s industry-leading service offerings and strategically position the company for the future,” Levasseur said of Siemens.

Siemens said Levasseur had helped make OpenSky a leading provider in IT services and cybersecurity.

“I am very glad that he will continue to play a very important role in the further development of OpenSky as our chief customer officer,” Siemens said.
