Rapper 50 Cent reportedly has sold his Farmington mansion for $8 million, although the town clerk’s office says it has yet to receive any official filing for it.
The sale of the property would have to be approved by bankruptcy court before it could be completed.
TMZ reported Thursday the sprawling estate sold for $10.5 million less than the original asking price when the property first appeared on the market in 2007.
Over the years, TMZ said the price tag was reduced several times and was a financial burden on the 40-year-old.
Maintaining the 52-room home cost the Queens native roughly $70,000 a month, according to the gossip site.
The extravagant residence boasts 21 bedrooms, nine kitchens, and an indoor and outdoor pool.
