Engineer Daniel Valentine in Tighe & Bond’s Middletown office has obtained his Connecticut certification as a professional licensed engineer.
He joined the Westfield, Mass., environmental engineering firm in 2008, after graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in civil engineering.

In addition to being a member of the American Society of Engineers and the Connecticut Society of Engineers, Valentine is the treasurer for the Younger Members Committee of CSCE.
The East Hampton resident also is a member of that town’s Water Pollution Control Authority.
