These startups raised $9.4M from Connecticut Innovations last quarter

Connecticut Innovations, the state’s quasi-public venture capital arm, invested $9.4 million in Connecticut companies during the third quarter of the 2021 fiscal year, which ended March 31.

CI’s total third-quarter investments amounted to $2.2 million more than the venture fund invested in fiscal 2021’s second quarter.

Bioscience and healthcare information companies received the greatest share of CI’s third-quarter investments with $6.5 million, followed by IT companies, which received $1.8 million.
