Hartford technology consulting firm The Technology Group has hired Carl Boyer as manager of information technology security and assurance services.
Prior to joining TTG, Boyer was the information security director at Farm Credit Financial Partners in Agawam, Mass.
Boyer has also worked in IT for Phoenix Life, Cigna, and the U.S. Government.
He is a former U.S. Air Force officer and pilot.
