Joe Boures, a former executive at Hartford Financial Services Group, is the new chief operating officer for an Atlanta workers’ compensation claims adviser.
Before Boures joined Healthcare Solutions he was president of Specialty Risk Services Inc., The Hartford’s former third-party claims administrator subsidiary sold in March for $278 million to Tennessee rival Sedgwick Claims Management Services.
Boures also served as deputy controller and strategic business development positions for The Hartford. Before joining the Hartford, he was vice president and controller with GAB Robins North America and as assistant vice president of internal audit at Continental Insurance Co.
