Rosenfelt will serve as the Hamden college’s professional-in-residence, mentoring students on film, video and interactive media for the 2011-2012 school year.

His other prominent films include “Smoke Signals,” “Teen Wolf” and “Extremities.”

Rosenfelt also recently finished directing the dramatic short film, “After the Denim,” based on a short story by Raymond Carver, which had its world premiere at the Florida International Film Festival in April.
