New Haven’s shiny, still-new hospitality haven, downtown’s Blake Hotel, has been open for half a year now. Earlier this summer the 108-room boutique hotel opened its way-cool rooftop bar and boite, called High George (named after the two downtown byways its building bisects). Then, in early August the Blake “re-launched” Hamilton Park, the chic, street-level bistro whose kitchen is helmed by recent CT Restaurant Association chef of the Year Tyler Anderson, who made his bones with Simbury’s Millwright’s in 2012 and more recently with Porròn and Piña, a Spanish-inspired restaurant and wine bar in Hartford’s historic Goodwin Hotel.
