Actuary Jason Frain, formerly a retirement plans officer at Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., has been hired to the same for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America.
Frain, a 13-year insurance industry veteran, is a vice president for 401(k) product management and development in New York-based Guardian’s retirement solutions division.
He reports to Michael B. Cefole, senior vice president in charge of the division.
Frain is a graduate of the University of Hartford, with a BS/BA in Actuarial Science. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
