The Hartford Financial Services Group said Tuesday that it has named insurance executive Andy Napoli as president of its consumer markets group.
Napoli, 45, assumes the new role on Monday. He most recently worked with the CUNA Mutual Group and spent years managing consumer insurance businesses and operations at Progressive and Nationwide.
The Hartford now has filled the top spots of its three newly named divisions.
Earlier this year, the property-casualty insurer and financial-services company reorganized itself into three main business lines including commercial and consumer markets and wealth management.
Liam McGee, Hartford’s CEO and chairman, has been shaking up the company’s management team since he took over for Ramani Ayer in October.
Napoli will lead Hartford’s plan to expand the AARP auto and homeowners insurance program and focus on other targeted customer segments, such as 40-plus.
David N. Levenson, 43, recently took over as head of the company’s wealth management division, a position formerly held by John C. Walters, who was scheduled to leave the company last month.
Juan Andrade is serving as president of commercial markets, providing risk protection and benefits for businesses.
