The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. named Donato Monaco a vice president to head up its Group Reinsurance Plus unit.
The unit is involved in private label reinsurance arrangements for group life, disability and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
Previously, Monaco was vice president of The Hartford’s Payroll Alliances Center, which offers workers’ compensation coverage for small businesses.
A Cromwell resident, Monaco, is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
