The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. said it promoted Michael Concannon to executive vice president of its property and casualty sales and distribution organization, effective immediately.
Concannon, 47, will report directly to Juan Andrade, president and chief operating officer of The Hartford’s property and casualty operations.
Concannon fills the role Andrade, 43, had before his promotion to president in July.
Concannon was previously senior vice president of The Hartford’s personal lines operations.
Concannon joined The Hartford in 1995 in the personal lines insurance center.
Before that, he held finance and underwriting management posts at Allstate, former E.F. Hutton & Co. and former Dean Witter Reynolds.
Concannon earned a degree from St. John’s University and an M.B.A. from Adelphi University.
