Robert Ingram, an insurance information technology veteran, is The Hartford’s new senior vice president and chief information officer for its property casualty operations.
Ingram, who previously was CIO at Safeco Corp., reports to Brian O’Connell, enterprise CIO for Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.
In his new role, Ingram will focus on driving the overall IT strategy for The Hartford’s property and casualty operations and will work with O’Connell to accelerate the company’s enterprise IT agenda.
With more than 27 years of experience in technology and insurance, Ingram previously served as CIO at USAA and spent 12 years at Accenture.

He earned his M.B.A. and B.A. from Texas A&M University.
