, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, for an undisclosed amount. All 102 of the Greater Hartford-based employees will be offered jobs with NBR as part of the sale. The Hartford has sold stop loss insurance, which covers self-insured employers against high claims, since 1974, and has approximately $200 million of stop loss premium coming from more than 800 self-funded employer plans. UnitedHealth Group is also the parent company of
Uniprise
in Hartford.
