The Edge Fitness Clubs has invested nearly $5 million in upgrades to several facilities around Connecticut, including Meriden and Hamden locations.
The fitness chain has 43 locations throughout nine states, including 16 in Connecticut, and has focused on renovations and major facility upgrades in Derby, Fairfield, Hamden, Meriden, Stratford and Norwalk, company executives said.
Vinny Sansone, founder of The Edge Fitness, said the clubs offer amenities like Edge Strong H.I.I.T classes, the Edge Fuel Bar, large turf/functional training spaces, strength equipment and performance lifting areas.
Renovations and upgrades across the chain include the addition of Edge Cinema, which provides an immersive experience for members to watch movie premieres and classics during workouts.Â

Renovations also include new equipment upgrades alongside the introduction of new membership plans, including month-to-month and boutique-style team training options, Sansone said.
Edge Fitness Clubs started expanding across the East Coast and Midwest in 2017.Â
