A Texas Jiffy Lube franchisee has acquired Constitution Lube Inc., the operator of five Jiffy Lube stores in Connecticut.
Irving, Texas-based Heartland Automotive Services Inc. was the largest Jiffy Lube franchisee before the acquisition with 435 outlets. Its purchase of retail centers in Hartford, New Haven and Fairfield counties expands Heartland’s territory, the company said.
“The Constitution acquisition solidifies our commitment to continued growth in the Northeast,” Heartland CEO Brett Ponton said in a statement.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. All employees from Connecticut Lube may stay in their current positions, Heartland said.
