A Houston helicopter transport company said it has signed an agreement with Sikorsky to purchase four S-92 helicopters for $129 million.
Sikorsky, a Stratford subsidiary of Hartford’s United Technologies Corp., will start delivering the twin-turbine aircraft to Era Group in early 2016.
The agreement contains an option for Era to buy as many as five additional helicopters.
