A tent scheduled to be raised Saturday is the last piece of the $1 million reconstruction of the SS&C SummerWind Peforming Arts Center in Windsor to launch its first concert season in seven years.
SummerWind has been performing fundraising and soliciting design and construction proposals since a 2003 snowstorm heavily damaged the 1,400-seat covered and outdoor venue.
SummerWind’s 2010 concert season kicks off with blues guitarist Robert Cray and his band on Aug. 7.
