Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted its 17th Annual Invitational Golf Classic at the 113-year-old Hartford Golf Club in West Hartford raised $73,000. Gathering at the 18th hole to celebrate the day are, pictured, from left: Nutmeg Board member Tom Daily; Nutmeg Board member Mike Mahoney; Nutmeg’s director of development, Darlene Roberts; and Nutmeg Board chairman Bill Carew. Daily’s law firm, Reid & Riege, and Carew’s company, Ovation Benefits Group, were bronze sponsors of the fundraiser. Mahoney, president of RLM Co., secured the Hartford Golf Club as a venue and generated four major sponsors.
