TEDx innovation conference to debut at Fairfield Theatre Company

A new TEDx conference focused on innovation will be held Sept. 30 at the Fairfield Theatre Company, featuring speakers from business, academia and research.

TEDx Innovation Drive will include talks by innovation author Warren Berger; Simon Hill, founder and CEO of innovation software company Wazoku; Michael Winter, chief scientist at aerospace and defense company RTX; neuroscientist Moshe Bar; author Carolyn Gregoire; Jessica Sager, co-founder and CEO of Connecticut-based child care nonprofit All Our Kin; and Wizdom Powell, founder and CEO of Unified Youth.

Topics will include creativity, innovation, leadership, education and neuroscience.

The event is being organized by Michael Carter, founder of Connecticut mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Carter Morse & Goodrich. According to organizers, the conference is intended to highlight practical approaches to fostering innovation across business, education and the public sector.
