Team Israel playing at Dunkin’ Donuts Park

Hartford’s Dunkin Donuts Park will host the Team Israel baseball team for two exhibition games ahead of the team’s run at the Olympic Games in Tokyo this summer.

Team Israel, which won its Olympics slot via the team’s victory at the 2019 European Baseball Championship, will play the Hartford Yard Goats on July 14 and July 15. Games will begin at 10:30 a.m. on those days.

“We are excited that our fans will get the opportunity to see Team Israel compete in a game leading up to their appearance in Tokyo at the upcoming Olympics,” Yard Goats team owner Josh Solomon said.

After canceling their season last year due to COVID-19, the Yard Goats have hosted fans at Dunkin Donuts Park at full capacity since their opening game May 11. Since Connecticut dropped its mask mandates May 19, fans who have been vaccinated are not required to wear masks.
