Team Becker honors leader at cancer fundraising walk

Team Becker, from Becker’s Diamonds and Fine Jewelry in West Hartford, recently raised more than $10,000 at the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s 4th Annual Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer Run and Walk at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. Becker’s co-owner Risa Becker, who died in September after battling ovarian cancer, formed the fundraising team to aid research and care of patients in Connecticut.
