Teaching Business at an Elementary Level

Fourteen employees of Robert Half International’s Hartford office took over South Side Elementary School in Bristol for a day of teaching and fun. RHI employees taught students in grades kindergarten through second as part of Junior Achievement of Southwest New England’s “JA in a Day” program. The volunteers spent the day educating and inspiring students about the connection between education and success in the workplace. Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
