Richard Tavolieri was named managing partner for Deloitte in Hartford, effective Sept. 1. Tavolieri, a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, is responsible for overseeing Deloitte’s growth in Hartford in addition to client service, internal operations and corporate citizenship. He succeeds John Curran, a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, who will serve as an advisory partner to clients until he retires next May.
Tavolieri has been with Deloitte for 27 years and was most recently the local audit practice leader, a position he will retain. He has also served as Deloitte’s lead audit partner for several marquee Connecticut companies.
