Rhode Island-based Tasca Automotive Group has paid $9 million for the Stamford property occupied by its Hyundai dealership, according to land records.
The deal closed May 20 and involved buying entities BOCADA Stamford LLC, affiliated with Tasca Automotive Group executive David Tasca Jr., and G3 235 Tarrytown Road LLC, which is not listed in state business records.
The seller, 85 MG LLC, is controlled by Mark Engel, who lists a Stamford business address, according to state records. Engel acquired the property in June 2019 for $6.2 million, property records show.
The dealership property at 85 Magee Ave. consists of a 2.09-acre parcel containing two buildings with a combined 26,915 square feet of auto sales and service space, according to city property records. The facilities date to 1948.
The site has a 2025 assessed value of $4.67 million and an appraised market value of $6.67 million.
Tasca Automotive also operates Tasca Ford of Connecticut in Berlin and dealerships across Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and other states.
