Tanger Outlets, which has been under construction at Foxwoods in Ledyard since Sept. 2013, will open May 21, Foxwoods announced.
Foxwoods and Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. had originally hoped to open the 300,000-square-foot addition in time for Christmas shopping this year, but acknowledged a year ago that they would have to delay the opening due to construction realities.
Tanger has said it plans to have more than 80 stores for the center’s opening.
