Syracuse, N.Y. energy provider BlueRock Energy has expanded into Connecticut, with specific concentrations in Hartford and New Haven counties this year.
The company provides electricity and natural gas supply to business and residential customers, as well as furnishing renewable energy products. The company currently has 16,000 customers in New York and Pennsylvania.
After launching in Hartford and New Haven counties this year, BlueRock plans on expanding more broadly into the state later this year and in 2016.
The company is a corporate sponsor of many organizations and events, notably the Brooklyn Nets and Buffalo Bills.
