Webster Bank has named Brandon Swafford senior vice president and director of corporate information security, reporting to Chief Information Officer Karen Higgins-Carter.
Swafford, 36, is a security and technology executive with more than a decade of experience, including financial-services security, counterintelligence and legal electronic discovery.
Swafford most recently served as chief technology
officer for insider threat at Forcepoint, a global security software and services company specializing in data loss prevention and insider threat.
Swafford, earned a bachelor’s degree in legal communications from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan., as well as certifications in insider threat program management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Amy Pellerin of Middletown has been named long-term care administrator at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, responsible for day-to-day operations and staffing. Pellerin has spent the last 18 years with Apple Rehab, including four as regional vice president. licensed nursing home administrator, she was graduated from UConn with a BS degree from its School of Family Studies.
Yale University has reappointed Jeremiah Quinlan dean of undergraduate admissions and financial aid for a second, five-year term extending to June 30, 2023. Quinlan has recruited two of the largest classes in Yale College history and increased the percentage of students who accept Yale’s offer of admission. He has augmented support for undergraduates through his advocacy for significant financial aid policy changes for low-income students and the creation of a distinct Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid.
