Supreme Court to hear health care law in March

The nation’s highest court said that it will begin to hear arguments in March  on the constitutionality of President Obana’s health care overhaul, The Associated Press reports.

The Supreme Court said it will hear health care arguments March 26 through  28.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act aims to provide health insurance to more than 30 million previously uninsured Americans.

The law has been a major political hot potato, which Republicans opposing the measure and Democrats largely backing it. The Supreme Court’s decision could also have significant implications in the 2012 presidential campaign.
